SUMMARY
The Scanning Clerk is responsible to produce legible digital copies of documents for retention purposes and ensure accuracy of the scanned documents. This is a temporary position expected through December 2026, with potential for hire based on business needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Files within appropriate file system all dealership forms, records, reports, correspondence, or other important material
- Reads/examines incoming material for accuracy and legibility, gets clarification if necessary, classifies properly, and files within appropriate file system
- Prep and organize documents to be scanned; remove any bindings, staples, clips, etc.
- Scan, title and electronically file documents effectively
- Provide administrative assistance to other departments
- Maintains a professional work appearance, and clean work space
- Scanning misc deal documents
- Creating/organizing car deal jackets and factory invoice jackets
- Filing and Organizing wholesale/dealer trade jackets
- Scanning and organizing service repair orders.
- Licensing plates – call customers when plates are available for pick up, maintain organization of plate storage, mailing out plates when needed.
