SUMMARY

This is a general position in the Longview, WA Body Shop with varying duties and responsibilities. These encompass three main areas: vehicle repair processes, general facility cleanup, parking lot/building lockup. Must have a clean driving record. Manual transmission experience preferred.

PAY

$17.13 - $18 an hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Vehicle Repair Process:

• Vehicle Detail:
  • Pre-washing before repairs and post-detail at repair completion and final delivery.
  • Assist in quality control complete checklist.
• Vehicle Scans:
  • Includes all vehicle scans both pre-repair and post-repair at completion.
• Sublet Repairs and Vehicle Transport:
  • Facilitate all sublet, vehicle transport, and parts where applicable
    • i.e., Stripes, tints, line-x, to service department, or the various vendors as directed.
  • Assist estimators and staff with where applicable when needed.
• Communication:
  • Communicate any potential issues with the estimators handling repairs and/or the production team.
  • Communicate any potential issues with management or staff concerning building maintenance, security, and/or safety as needed.

General Facility Cleanup & Maintenance

• Building General Cleanup:
  • Shop cleaning, garbage dump, etc.
  • Cardboard and sheet metal runs
  • Parking lot, bull pen, ally
• Building Maintenance:
  • General maintenance as needed

Parking & Building Lock-Up

• Monitor parking lot (refer to parking procedures)
• Building Lock-up
  • Both Body Shop buildings, vehicles, and bull pen.
• Cash box next door to specified location

MARGINAL DUTIES

• Being a team player

• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Other duties as assigned
